Alert: ...The National Weather Service in Shreveport LA has issued a Flood Warning for the following river in Texas... Sabine River Near Beckville affecting Rusk, Panola, Harrison and Gregg Counties.

Instructions: Do not drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately. Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Fishing Report from TPWD (Feb. 24)

FAIR. Very clear south, stained north; 56-59 degrees; 2.82’ low. Black bass are fair, with some inconsistencies fishing shallow and deep. Shallow timber, under vegetation, and staying south to clear water is the most productive environment. White bass are fair, still staying close to southern tributaries. Crappie are fair with spawn in shallower structures with spurts in afternoons. Channel and blue catfish are fair on cut bait and stinkbait.
