* Minor flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 26.0 feet.

* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by this evening and continue to rise to near 26.4 feet BY tomorrow evening. The river will fall below flood stage by Monday before midnight.

* Impact...at 26.0 feet...Expect lowland flooding of the heavily wooded floodplain. In addition, oil field operations in and near the floodplain will be affected and steps should be taken to secure petroleum equipment. &&

West central Bienville Parish in northwestern Louisiana... Southeastern Bossier Parish in northwestern Louisiana...

* Until 645 PM CST.

* At 440 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain which will cause flooding of low lying and poor drainage areas, especially near creeks and streams.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Shreveport, Stonewall, Keachi, Grand Cane, Longstreet, Gloster, Keat Chie, Frierson, Caspiana, Taylortown, Elm Grove, Kingston, Ninock, Kickapoo, Keithville, Robson, Mc Dade and Reeds Store.

Instructions: Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.

Toledo Bend Lake Fishing Report from TPWD (Feb. 19)

FAIR. Water slightly stained; 55-58 degrees; 2.95’ low. The largemouth bass bite has been fair on crankbaits, spinnerbaits and jigs moving to slightly shallower warm water. Striped bass are sporadic but increasing. White bass remain slow. Crappie are fair on minnows over brush piles or near structure in less than 8 feet of water. Channel and blue catfish are fair on stinkbait.
