* At 11:45 AM Friday The stage was 28.6 feet.

* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 26.0 feet.

* Impact...at 28.0 feet...Expect considerable lowland flooding on the reach of the Sabine River from the Tatum through Beckville and DeBerry areas with flooded boat ramps, gas and petroleum wells, and even some low area cabins. &&

Instructions: Do not drive vehicles through flooded waterways. Use caution when walking near flooded riverbanks. Do not try to wade or swim in flooded rivers and bayous. * Impact...At stages near 35.0 feet...Expect several secondary roads in the Merryville and Bon Wier areas near the river to be closed.

* Impact...At stages near 33.0 feet...Moderate lowland flooding will occur. Low-lying roads and a few homes have some flooding between Bon Wier and Merryville. Camp houses along the river in Southwest Vernon Parish begin to flood.

* Forecast...The river will remain near 26.1 feet.

* Impact...At stages near 26.0 feet...Moderate lowland flooding will occur. The lowest homes between Deweyville and the river begin to flood, especially in the Indian Lakes and River Oaks sections. Low-lying roads and a few homes in Southwestern Beauregard Parish have some flooding.

* Impact...At stages near 25.0 feet...Lowest roads beside the river flood around Deweyville and subject to being closed. In addition, low-lying roads in Southwest Beauregard Parish are flooded including Robert Clark Road. Flooding occurs on the south side of Niblett Bluff Park with access roads to camp houses cut off around the park. Access roads to the river in Northeastern Orange County become flooded. &&

Toledo Bend Lake Fishing Report from TPWD (May 22)

Water murky; 75–83 degrees; 1.06’ high. Black bass are fair on soft plastic worms and crankbaits. Striped bass are fair on white bucktail jigs. White bass are fair on silver spoons and Li’l Fishies in the river. Crappie are good on minnows and pink tube jigs over baited holes. Bream are good on crickets and nightcrawlers. Channel and blue catfish are good on trotlines baited with live bait. Yellow catfish are slow.
