Fishing Report from TPWD (Feb. 24)

FAIR. Very clear south, stained north; 56-59 degrees; 2.82’ low. Black bass are fair, with some inconsistencies fishing shallow and deep. Shallow timber, under vegetation, and staying south to clear water is the most productive environment. White bass are fair, still staying close to southern tributaries. Crappie are fair with spawn in shallower structures with spurts in afternoons. Channel and blue catfish are fair on cut bait and stinkbait.
