Over the creek & through the woods! Escape to your own private 16-acre waterfront acreage, partially wooded with mature pines &hardwoods, all sitting on a 12 ft. deep-water cove. The private 15x50 ft. boat launch and floating dock located in the wide area of the cove, allows for easy turning of a 20+ft. pontoon boat. With the gentle slope down to the water no bulkhead is necessary. Recent roadwork has been done for better access through the property, which also has electrical. Part of it was originally divided as a subdivision, and most markers are still in place. All this is located not far from the well-known Chicken Coup, with some of the best fishing on the lake. This is a rare find, with so many possibilities, from your dream home or camp to investment property, don't miss out on this opportunity.

Fishing Report from TPWD (May 7)

SLOW. Water stained; 72 degrees; 0.56 feet below pool. Fishing has been fair due to recent storms with more storms in the forecast. Typically the water level falls this time of year, but it is on the rise. Shallow bass fishing is fair with topwaters, frogs and swim jigs. Still very little shad spawn action going on because the water temperature is too cool. Mid range bass are fair 8-12 feet of water with Carolina rigs, Texas rigs and mid range crankbaits. The deeper bite has slowed due to the rising water level. Crappie do not like the flow and rising water so the bite is hit-or-miss. Dam is running both generators 24/7. No flood gates are open at this time. Report by Stephen Johnston, Johnston Fishing.
