11.67 pound bass tops TBLA Lunker List

The Toledo Bend Lake Association's Lunker Bass Program as of 3/2/18, has 23 lunkers entered into the program for the May 2017 - May 2018 year! Pictured at left is Phillip Durio of Elton, LA with the biggest fish caught this month, his 11.67 pound lunker that he caught on February 16, 2018 and weighed in at Toledo Town & Tackle.

Toledo Bend Lake Fishing Report from TPWD (Jul. 17)

Water murky; 84–88 degrees; 1.52’ low. Black bass are good on chartreuse soft plastics, spinnerbaits, and crankbaits. Striped bass are fair on chartreuse striper jigs. White bass are fair on minnows and Li’l Fishies. Crappie are good on minnows and white tube jigs over baited holes. Bream are good on crickets. Channel and blue catfish are good on trotlines baited with shrimp and stinkbait in 20–30 feet. Yellow catfish are slow.
