Toledo Bend Lake, along with most Texas’s lake are going to receive a lot of visitors this weekend and all next week going into Memorial Day weekend. Boat riding, swimming, water skiing, wake boarding and just enjoying a campfire with friends are just some of the great things that will be happening in the first big holiday weekend of the summer.

Toledo Bend Lake Fishing Report from TPWD (Jun. 13)

Water murky; 80–84 degrees; 0.36’ low. Black bass are good on chartreuse spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and Rat–L–Traps. Striped bass are fair on silver slabs and Li’l Fishies. White bass are fair on minnows and small spinnerbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows and chartreuse tube jigs over baited holes. Bream are fair on crickets and nightcrawlers. Channel and blue catfish are fair on trotlines baited with live bait and stinkbait in 20–30 feet. Yellow catfish are slow.
