Located on the north end of the Texas side of the lake in Huxley, TX.

With all the special touches provided, our guests say they feel "right at home" the minute they walk into The Cottage! The covered front porch overlooks the peaceful lake and right outside the back door is a screened-in deck for cooking and dining al fresco. A carport provides covered parking for your car and boat, and adjacent to The Cottage is a fire pit, fishing pier and a boat ramp for your use. No pets are allowed unless permission is granted in advance and there is a pet fee if a pet is allowed.

The Cottage rents for $180 per night for one to three people, plus $20 for each additional person per night.

With 1918 square feet under roof, this comfortable 2 bedroom, 2 bath cedar cottage sleeps up to nine people and has just about every convenience found in your home including:
· Central air/heat
· High-speed wireless Internet access

· Large fully equipped kitchen
· Washer and dryer
· Large charcoal grill

· Table for 4 in kitchen
· Table for 6 in living area
· Bar with 2 stools

· Fish off the pier, or full guide services available! Visit Toledo Bend Guide Service on our site. We do provide our guests a peddle boat and canoe at no charge. Note: If the lake is experiencing low water conditions, you may not be able to launch or fish off the pier, however, Huxley Bay Marina has a deep water ramp with access to the lake and is just a few minutes from the Cottage.

There are two convenience stores/diners with 24-hour gas and diesel pumps, plus a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, all only 4 to 5 miles away.

An eastern lake view allows for a spectacular sunrise or a magnificent moon. With The Cottage, The Chalet and The Bungalow within walking distance of each other, large groups can be easily accommodated. With all this in a quiet, secluded area, it's no wonder our guests return year after year!

Toledo Bend Lake Fishing Report from TPWD (Dec. 4)

GOOD. Water slightly stained; 61 degrees; 7.00’ low. Largemouth bass are good on crankbaits, jigs, plastic worms, and spinners. The best largemouth habitat is vegetation and creek channels along the Sabine Forrest. Striped bass are good on topwater, rattle traps, and spoons on humps and along river channels. White bass are fair on spoons and small crankbaits. Channel and blue catfish are good on live bait and stinkbait. Crappie are good around on jigs and live minnows.
