The mission of the tournament is to conduct an industry bass tournament in a fun, family atmosphere that will benefit the Shriners Hospitals for Children - Shreveport dedicated to the betterment of the children in the Haynesville Shale area of East Texas and Northwest Louisiana. Individuals must derive(or be retired from) 70% of their annual income directly from companies engaged in the exploration, drilling, production and/or servicing of gas and/or oil wells.
