Located on the north end of the Texas side of the lake in Huxley, TX.

With all the special touches provided, our guests say they feel "right at home" the minute they walk into The Cottage! The covered front porch overlooks the peaceful lake and right outside the back door is a screened-in deck for cooking and dining al fresco. A carport provides covered parking for your car and boat, and adjacent to The Cottage is a fire pit, fishing pier and a boat ramp for your use. No pets are allowed unless permission is granted in advance and there is a pet fee if a pet is allowed.

The Cottage rents for $180 per night for one to three people, plus $20 for each additional person per night.

With 1918 square feet under roof, this comfortable 2 bedroom, 2 bath cedar cottage sleeps up to nine people and has just about every convenience found in your home including:
· Central air/heat
· High-speed wireless Internet access
· Satellite TV/DVD
· Large fully equipped kitchen
· Washer and dryer
· Large charcoal grill

· Table for 4 in kitchen
· Table for 6 in living area
· Bar with 2 stools
· Table for 4 on covered front porch

· Full bath with tub/shower combination, large lavatory area; adjoins master bedroom and hall

· Some basic staples (seasonings, sweeteners, etc.)

· Information notebook (numbers/directions to local services and attractions)

· Fish off the pier, or full guide services available! Visit Toledo Bend Guide Service on our site. We do provide our guests a peddle boat and canoe at no charge. Note: If the lake is experiencing low water conditions, you may not be able to launch or fish off the pier, however, Huxley Bay Marina has a deep water ramp with access to the lake and is just a few minutes from the Cottage.

There are two convenience stores/diners with 24-hour gas and diesel pumps, plus a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, all only 4 to 5 miles away.

An eastern lake view allows for a spectacular sunrise or a magnificent moon. With The Cottage, The Chalet and The Bungalow within walking distance of each other, large groups can be easily accommodated. With all this in a quiet, secluded area, it's no wonder our guests return year after year!

Water stained; 71–75 degrees; 0.55’ high. Black bass are fair on watermelon and June bug soft plastics, and on watermelon spinnerbaits and crankbaits. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows and chartreuse tube jigs. Bream are fair on worms. Channel and blue catfish are fair on live minnows, frozen shrimp, liver, and stinkbait. Yellow catfish are slow.
