With the mass adoption of social media our definition of "news" and how we consume it has changed drastically over the past 5 years. Here at ToledoBend.com, we believe the future of news will leverage "citizen journalism" where local citizens play an active role in collecting, reporting, analyzing, and disseminating news and information. Many talented area residents are already publishing news through their blogs and social media posts but are limited by their inability reach the masses.

Leveraging our expertise, traffic, technology and social media channels, we can instantly reach tens-of-thousands of residents, weekenders and visitors interested in the Toledo Bend Lake area news. We are always interested in connecting with local citizens with a flair for writing to contribute to our toledobend.com news and events. Each article will include your picture, bio and link to your site. This can generate great visibility for your business or help establish credibility as a citizen journalist while also contributing positively to the lake community.
